The Kingdom of Kakatiya was a prominent South Indian kingdom that ruled over parts of present-day Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was founded by Prola I in 1083 and lasted until 1323. The Kakatiyas were known for their architectural achievements, including the construction of the Warangal Fort and the Ramappa Temple.
