The Kingdom of Pandya was an ancient Tamil kingdom located in the southern part of the Indian subcontinent. The Pandyas were one of the three major Tamil dynasties, along with the Cholas and the Cheras. The kingdom existed from around the 6th century BCE to the 16th century CE.
