The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013 is an anti-corruption law in India. It was enacted on 18 January 2014 and came into force on 16 October 2018. The Act provides for the establishment of a Lokpal at the central level and Lokayuktas at the state level. These bodies are responsible for investigating allegations of corruption against public servants.
