Africa is the second-largest continent in the world with 6% of the total geographical area and 20.4% of the land area of the world. It is surrounded by Mediterranean sea to the north, the Indian Ocean to the southeast, the Atlantic Ocean in the West, and the Suez Canal and the Red Sea in the northeast. It has a tropical and subtropical type of climate. It is the hottest continent in the world.

World's largest peak Mt. Everest is located in north of Asia. It is about 8,850m above sea level. It is located at 27degree 59' 16" N latitude and 86 degree 55' 46" E longitude. It remains snow capped.This peak was first located by George Everest. In the year 1865,this peak was named after Sir George Everest.

Pacific Ocean lies in the East of Asia .The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean in the world having 1/3 of the globe,extends from east to west for 16,000km from the East coast of Asia in the West to the West coast of America's in the East and for 14,880km north to south between Bering Strait in the north to Cape Ader (Anteractica) in the south. Average depth of the ocean is 4,572m.

Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world, which is 8850m above sea level. It remains snow-capped, located between 27degree 59' 16" N latitude and 85 degrees 55' 46" E longitude, this sky touching peak was first located by George Everest. In 1852 it was named as Mount Everest as a tribute to Sir George Everest.

Indian Ocean is the third largest ocean in the world. It has Asia in the north , Africa in the West, Asia in the east, Australia in the south-east and Antarctica in the south. The ocean has contact with the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean in the south near Antarctica. The average depth of the ocean is 4,000m.

Mediterranean sea is the almost enclosed sea. It is located in 30 degrees to 36-degree latitude and 6 degrees to 36-degree longitude. It covers about 2.5 million square km and the average depth is 1,500 square km. It is surrounded by south by Africa, north by Europe, and east by west Asia.

Nile is the world's  longest river located in continent Africa. It is a north flowing river. It is 6,853 km long and 2.8 km wide with a depth of 8.11m. River Nile has two major tributories, namely, White Nile and Blue Nile. In Sudan and Egypt Nile is the primary source of water.

Suez Canal is a artificial water way which connects Mediterranean sea and the Res sea. It is opened in the year 17th November 1869. The length of the canal is 198.30km. The canal was made and also maintain by Suez Canal authority of Egypt. This canal plays very important role in world trade.

Amazon rainforest are found in south America. It is the largest biodiverse tropical rain forest of the world. It covers an area of 5,500,000 square km.This is a evergreen forest.
