The National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) consists of eight missions, including the National Solar Mission, National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency, National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture, National Mission on Green India, National Mission on Sustainable Habitat, National Mission on Water, National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem, and National Mission on Strategic Knowledge for Climate Change.

The National Adaptation Fund for Climate Change (NAFCC) aims to support adaptation projects in vulnerable sectors, promote research and development on adaptation technologies, and provide financial assistance to states and union territories for adaptation projects.

The National Steering Committee on Climate Change (NSCCC) is responsible for providing guidance on the implementation of the NAPCC, reviewing and approving projects for funding under the NAFCC, and monitoring the progress of the NAPCC.
